{ iPads in Kindergarten }

I am SO excited to announce that our school will have the funding to give each classroom 5 iPads this year! I have been able to raise the funds for 4 iPads through Donors Choose. So 4 + 5 = 9....right?! Continue to look for more posts about how I plan to organize, utilize, and thrive within my classroom using this amazing form of technology within #JCPS!

Welcome to Kindergarten 2015-2016

Here is our 2015-2016 supply list! Please bring your supplies to K Camp on August 6 at 10. These supplies will be community supplies and shared throughout the classroom. Only a couple more weeks until we meet each other!

Google Docs....FOR STUDENTS!

When I use Google Docs to plan lessons, make assessments, and share with other teachers; it never occurred to me that students could benefit from this great tool as well!

When we start to learn more and more about our ocean animals we will begin to have Google Doc chats with Mrs. Wolff's class using the Google Doc app and our iPads! The app is FREE check it out! Check out Mrs. Wolff's website!  Students will be able to chat with other students (from a few rooms down) about what they are learning about! We will be able to use all of our writing goals when typing our responses! I am very excited to try this new idea out! I will post pictures once we start!

Check out these other great ideas that I have been reading about from Tales from Outside the Classroom
